Based in Philadelphia The Great Unknown is a folk band that operates based on its desire for connection. For its debut record release show, the band filled the bar with home-brewed, prepared baked goods for the audience and decorated the venue with collected leaves. Though the band's songwriter style lends it to the folk genre, The Great Unknown's music has strong influences in classic and indie rock.
