The Dreaming Spires

Though Joe and Robin Bennet have played together in two other bands, Goldrush and Danny & the Champions of the World, the brothers joined forces once again to form the shoegaze/country rock outfit The Dreaming Spires. While the band is primarily composed of the Bennetts, they are often joined on stage by friends and collaborating musicians such as Nick Fowler, Mike Monaghan and Laurence Colbert. The Dreaming Spire's 2012 debut album Brothers in Brooklyn, inspired by the brothers' experience on tour with Mark Gardener of Ride, narrates the extreme highs and lows of playing in a new band in unfamiliar territory.
