Certain colors represent different ideas and hold certain connotations for society and mankind as a species. Black typically seems to represent death, dying, decay, evil and other bad things; white represents all that is good and pure in the universe; and green symbolizes hope, growth, nature and optimism. Aware of these different connotations, when a German gothic metal band was looking for a suitable name it decided to call itself End of Green--a moniker that roughly translated, means end of hope. The band has been cranking out its characteristic style of baneful hard rock since 1992 and after a respectable amount of years spent on the road, delivering its live show to audiences around the world, it has come to be looked at as a battle tested band that can always deliver a mean blend of modern German metal during live shows.
