Lu Lu Mae is a folk rock outfit with a twee aesthetic built upon with warm, earnest storytelling. Based in Nashville, the self-proclaimed family band is led by husband-wife duo Joel and Sarah Finley, who surround themselves with old friends to complete Lulu Mae. The band released its debut album, The Mockingbird and the Dogwood Tree, in 2012, before adding a bit more of a rock and roll edge for its sophomore LP, 2014's Mean River.
