Mingo Fishtrap is a soul funk band that emerged out of Austin, Texas, in the mid-1990s. After releasing its debut album, Succotash, in 1997, Mingo Fishtrap earned a fan base with its modern take on funk music and has since continued to set itself apart from the rock-centric atmosphere of its hometown.
