A Hero A Fake

Hailing from Charlotte, NC the five-piece band A Hero A Fake is a metalcore act that was formed in 2004. While the band's first demo demonstrates a post-hardcore sound, A Hero A Fake found its metalcore influence with its 2005 EP, Friends Are Family. After developing a tight-knit fan base in its hometown, the band was signed to Victory Records and released its debut album, Volatile in 2008. A Hero A Fake performed for a California audience for the first time on its 2011 tour, spreading the word about its 2012 album, The Future Again.
