Chuck Johnson

Chuck Johnson is an Oakland, California-based composer and artist who owns a minimal, experimental folk sound. Beyond his contributions to outfits like the Idyll Swords and Shark Quest, as well as his various film compositions, he is best-known for his work as a steel string guitarist and for incorporating electronic sound into his music with both homemade and analog instruments. Through his various projects, from his interactive designs to his experimental compositions, such as 2009's Seven Orbits, Johnson has earned a reputation as one of the most versatile and original multimedia artists today.
