Virginia-born and New York-based artist Ben Arthur is a singer/songwriter who is known for both his collaborations and his solo material. His debut album Curses and Rapture, released in 1997, featured the fiddler and guitarist from the rock band Dave Matthews Band and offered a catchy acoustic pop sound that has earned him a solid fan base. After three more full length efforts, Arthur release his fifth studio album If You Look for My Heart, in 2012. Arguably his most ambitious project, the album was released with an accompanying novel. Although the characters and scenes in the book inspired his music, each effort stands alone as its own work of art.
