Hailing from Poland, Jakub Alexander is an electronic music producer who performs and releases music under the moniker Heathered Pearls. As a DJ, he forgoes the typical techno house beats of his many peers and opts for a more rhythmic, melodic tones for a synthesized sound that lands between post rock and disco. Though Alexander released his debut album Polite Isle, in 2011, he dropped his first record as Heathered Pearls in 2012
