Star Slinger

Manchester-based producer Darren Williams started his Star Slinger project because he fell deeply in love with composing songs entirely out of samples. Though his experiments with pulling bits and pieces from other tracks began out of curiosity, he ended up with entire songs and decided to really make a go at creating this unique style of music. With rises and falls in textural tones, Williams creates rich compositions that reimagine and reinvent songs so that they simultaneously incite familiarity and excitement.
