Daniel Lemma

Daniel Lemma is a Ethiopian-born, Swedish musician who specializes in making a characteristic style of roots music. Throughout the 1990s Lemma was part of the popular group Mo Blues, and shortly after that band's demise, Lemma moved to New York, where he immersed himself in the rich sonic tapestry that exists in that bustling city. Upon moving back to Sweden, Lemma was reinvigorated with a new appreciation for composing and his debut album, 2001 rootsy-folk album Morning Train, is clearly evidence of his renewed sense of music appreciation.
