Heliotropes

Heliotropes is a Brooklyn-based psychedelic rock project that incorporates elements of shoegaze, noise and metal into its sound. With violin weaving through muddy guitar riffs and onslaughts of drums, the band's music is carried by vocalist Jessica Numsuwankijkul's wistful voice, which takes the music into the realm of dizzying psych rock. Heliotropes first captured its sound with the 2010 EP III, before signing with Manimal Vinyl in 2012 and dropping its first single with the label, "Moonlite."
