Until the Ribbon Breaks

Sometimes referred to as simply U.T.R.B., Until the Ribbon Breaks is the R&B project of Welsh vocalist Pete Lawrie. With an affinity for old school R&B and an ear for contemporary electronics, Lawrie layers samples, synthesized beats, vocal harmonies and piano together for an alternative R&B sound that is both futuristic and nostalgic. Until the Ribbon Breaks released its debut single "Pressure," in 2013, followed shortly by a full-length album.
