The Monsters of Folk is an indie rock supergroup featuring Conor Oberst and Mike Mogis of Bright Eyes, M. Ward of She & Him and Jim James of My Morning Jacket. Despite the tongue-in-cheek name and folk backgrounds of all the band's members, The Monsters of Folk's style is more classic rock than straightforward folk, with all four members equally sharing vocals and songwriting credits.
