Mason Ruffner is a singer/songwriter and guitar player from Fort Worth, Texas whose musical roots were sowed in the late 1960s, when he fell in love with the instrumental adeptness of Jimmy Hendrix and the lyrical poignancy of Bob Dylan. After starting off on a musical path and finding a deep-seeded connection with the blues, Ruffner relocated to New Orleans, where he was able to establish himself as a preeminent guitarist. Though never achieving widespread commercial success, Ruffner has remained a noted fixture of The Big Easy and has collaborated with noted musicians and bands like Daniel Lanois, Jimmy Page, U2 as well as Crosby Stills and Nash
