JR Robinson is an avant-garde musician who creates complex soundscapes under his Wrekmeister Harmonies guise. In order to build a hard-hitting and pummeling sound, Robinson assembled a cast of musicians from the metal and hard rock communities in 2012 and performed an original composition at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago to much lauded critical fanfare. Having since gone on to play at a number of museums and art-friendly concert halls, Robinson has distinguished himself as a respected experimental musician who's unafraid to venture into the far reaches of sonic abstraction in order to achieve his artistic endgame.
