Led by singer/songwriter Alex Johnstone, who is perhaps best known under the moniker Monster, White Dove is an indie rock band that emerged out of Sierra Madre, California, in 2012. Combining aspects of Americana and classic rock with Johnstone's otherworldly, melancholic vocals in the foreground, White Dove released its debut album, The Hoss, the Candle, in 2013 with the indie label RSRCH + DVLP, and the trio's psychedelic brand of soft rock has already garnered much attention.
