Even though her youthful lyrical themes hint at the singer/songwriter's young age, Elise Davis' mature, rich vocals carry her country pop ballads. The Arkansas native began songwriting at the age of 12, and she gigged around Little Rock with her high school band, The Sandbox Lizards, before she decided to embark on a solo music career and release her debut album her senior year of high school. Following her graduation from college and the release of her fourth studio album, 2010's The Same Vein, Davis took to the road on tour before deciding that it was time to move to Nashville, where she released her fifth album, Cheap Date and, most recently, 2013's EP Big Ol' Dreams.
