Formed in 2008, Gabriel The Marine was an indie rock band that carved a niche for itself with its orchestral leanings. The band first came on to the scene with the release of its self-titled EP in 2008 and continued to tour actively throughout its career. A successful crowdsourcing campaign funded their next EP, titled Stars Collecting, which was released in 2012. Although the band had a strong fan-following, its members called it quits in 2014, shortly after the release of their final EP, Songs for the Endtime.
