Pompeya is a Moscow, Russia-based band that makes groovy, chillwave-influenced indie pop songs. Even though the band's lyrics are in English, it has managed to become one of Russia's preeminent indie outfits. In its home country, Pompeya performs at large concert halls and presents its new songs on popular TV shows. The American edition of the band's first album Tropical was released in 2013.
