Cory Kendrix

Cory Kendrix is an Austin, Texas-based hip-hop artist who blends a distinctive West Coast sound with a defined Southern hip-hop sensibility to create unique style of rap music that's well suited for the modern Texas hip-hop scene. Initially starting out as a producer for other rappers, Kendrix would learn his way around a drum machine and sequence programmer before launching his professional rapping career. Kendrix released his debut album, Free Beer, in 2012 and the LP's fresh blend of slow rhythms and powerful vocals helped distinguish the Austin rapper as a musical force to be trifled with.
