Comprised of vocalist/guitarist Josh Homme (Queens of the Stone Age), drummer Dave Grohl (Nirvana, Foo Fighters) and bassist John Paul Jones (Led Zeppelin), Them Crooked Vultures is one of the more notable super groups to ever emerge. Within the band's sound - a mixture of hard hitting licks and thoughtful arrangements - can be heard trace elements of each members respective main musical endeavors.
