Birthed from the mid-1990s Brazilian underground heavy metal scene, Eminence is a band that has no qualms with being perceived as overtly aggressive. With peers like Machine Head and Sepultura, Eminence shares a propulsive, driving sound that's the sonic equivalent of an unrelenting steam-powered engine that powers a black market arms manufacturing plant. Eminence released its debut album, Chaotic System, in 1999 and has managed to release a new LP about every four years, possibly most notably with its 2013 critically lauded fourth album, The Stalker.
