Philadelphia native Mike Taylor is a hip-hop artist with an unwavering pop sensibility. Born to a jazz musician father, he was raised to appreciate various styles of music, from jazz to rock and eventually hip-hop. With his crossover sound, Taylor helped cultivate a new grassroots scene in Philadelphia that bridges classic pop with modern soul, hip-hop and R&B.
