With a sound it describes as future roots, The Boston Boys is a four-piece outfit that blends Americana, rock, jazz and pop into one cohesive, soul-infused sonic amalgam. Formed in 2009 while its members were were still students at Berklee School of Music in Boston, the group took its time crafting a distinctive aesthetic that could not be pigeonholed into simple categories such as folk or bluegrass, though threads of those genres can be seen woven throughout the band's intricate sonic fabric. The Boston Boys dropped its debut album What You Say?!?, in 2012, and was granted musical diplomacy from the US State Department so that it could tour through Cyprus, Israel, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Morocco. The quartet has since continued to cultivate a dedicated international following it its modern yet familiar music.
