Initially known as the Carter Twins, Kingston is a country duo composed of brothers Joshua Scott and Zachary Edward Carter. The twin brothers officially teamed up to pursue a music career in 2009, when they released the debut hit "Heart Like Memphis," and subsequent self-titled album as the Carter Twins. The duo announced its new moniker in 2011, before releasing the single "Dear Someone."
