Dawn of Midi

Comprised of bassist Aakaash Israni, pianist Amino Belyamani and drummer Qasim Naqvi, Dawn of Midi is a New York City-based group that blends jazz with a number of avant-garde sensibilities to create a distinctive and highly listenable sonic amalgam. Since releasing its debut album, First, in 2010, Dawn of Midi has managed to build a name for itself with powerful live shows that manage to highlight the band's natural performance aptitude.
