Marvelous Mark

Marvelous Mark is an American artist who is known for his ear-burrowing melodies and hooks. Before starting a solo venture, Mark was part of Toronto's Marvelous Darlings, a powerpop/garage punk outfit featuring Matt Delong (No Warning, Yacht Club) and Ben Cook (Fucked Up, No Warning, Yacht Club). He teamed up with Cook in 2012, and together they released the album Slumberland under the name Roommates. After a time of drifting, homelessness and writing song for other artists, Marvelous Mark came out with his own brand of 1990s power pop in 2014. The first single, "Bite Me", is a hum-along kind of song that sets the tone for the album.
