Manu Militari is a hip-hop artist who rose to attention in the early 2000s with his group Rime Organisé. While continuing to operate with his collective, he dropped his debut solo EP, Manu Drastic, in 2002, and began earning recognition for the subtle political undercurrents of his lyrics. Militari released his first full-length album, Voix de fait, to critical acclaim in 2006 and has since continued to expand his international following.
