NK Zadar is a Croatian football club representing the city of Zadar in the Croatian Third Football League. Formed as AC Dalmazia in 1876, the club primarily competed in Italian leagues until 1945. It adopted the name in NK Zadar in 1949, a few years after the annexation of the city with Yugoslavia. It became the founding member of the Croatian first division in 1992 and played in the top flight for nearly 20 years. Based at the Stadion Stanovi, the club has produced many notable players such as Dragan Blatnjak, Luka Modric and Danijel Subašić among others.
