Steve Taylor is a Christian alternative rock musician who owns a reputation for using his songs to highlight the hypocrisies of other Christians. With songs like the "On the Fritz" pointing to the the secret lives of priests and "We Don't Need No Color Code" comdemning racism, he has distinguished himself as not only a Christian songwriter but as a purveyor of equality. In addition to his solo material, such as his 1983 debut I Want to Be a Clone, as well as his work with Chagall Guevara, he also releases music with his band Steve Taylor & The Perfect Foil, starting with the 2014 LP, Goliath.
