Born Jared Pellerin, Pell is a hip-hop artist who blends experimental soul, ethereal electronics and rap into one modern style. Displaced by Hurricane Katrina and forced to relocate to Jackson, MS with nothing but his musical heritage, he poured his efforts into crafting songs that captured his experiences and upbringing. After dropping a series of well-regarded mixtapes, he rose to attention with the release of his 2014 album Floating While Dreaming. The record earned Pell acclaim from both underground and mainstream sources, paving the way for his first world tour in 2015.
