Domo Genesis is a rapper from Los Angeles and is a member of alternative hip-hop collective Odd Future. His first mixtape dropped in 2010 titled Rolling Papers. Genesis is a marijuana connoisseur who makes happy rap songs about getting high with friends and overcoming life problems. In 2011 he followed up the mixtape Rolling Papers with Under The Influence, which tells stories about being under the influence of drugs and alcohol. In 2012 he released another mixtape titled No Idols with highly sought after producer The Alchemist. In 2016 he dropped his debut album Genesis with features from rap superstars Wiz Khalifa, Juicy J and Mac Miller. On this album he has different styles from rap to alternative hip-hop and even jazz. His song "Dapper," featuring Anderson .Paak has a jazz-themed beat while Genesis raps mellow lyrics to keep fans feeling at peace.
