Squid is a five-piece band formed in Brighton which originally started as a jazz band, but after a lot of experimentation and soul-searching, decided to become a post-punk band. It honed its skills and started creating a name for itself in the U.K's underground music scene before debuting with Perfect Teeth in 2016. Squid's music released in later years established itself a post-punk band which dwells in experimenting and doesn't shy away from creating avant-grade music. Some of the songs that best encapsulate Squid are "Houseplants" and "The Dail."
