In this world there is good music and bad music. It's good vs. bad, light vs. dark, virtuous vs. evil. Anyone who tells you differently is an ignorant sap, or, possibly, a lover of bad music who doesn't want to feel like an idiot for liking a music that's just bad. Most people, unfortunately, listen to bad music. These people are not lost souls - only misguided. It is the duty of people who listen to good music to help escort as many of these imprudent sonic followers away from the dark side as possible. For someone trying to jump-start the mind of a music dunce, a good starting point is any album by Icelandic electronica musician Ruxpin. The artist, whose real name is Jonas Thor Gudmundsson, has been releasing interesting, ambient-influenced work, since 1999 and as he gives more time for music nerds to scour the far reaches of the internet for his material, the Icelandic-based electronic composer's notoriety amongst fans of good music will undoubtedly grow.
