A progressive metal band from Helsingborg, Sweden, Cloudscape has been a well-known member of the Swedish rock circuit since the band's inception in 2001. To date, the group has three albums under its belt, all full of metal-pop riffs, cheesy keyboards, double bass drum hits and lead singer Micael Andersson's emotional wails about society's ills. The lyrics are pretty sappy and contrived, but musically, melodic metal fans may find some things to enjoy.
