Serenity originated in 2001 in Tyrol Austria. The original lineup of the band comprised Matthias Anker, Stefan Schipflinger, Stefan Wanker, Andreas Schipflinger and Mario Hirzinger. The symphonic metal band has evolved to include elements of power metal and progressive metal into its music. The band is known for albums like Words Untold & Dreams Unlived, Fallen Sanctuary, War of Ages, Lionheart and The Last Knight.
