Ron Young started the hard rock band, Little Caesar, in 1987 along with Loren Molinare, Apache, Fidel Paniagua and Tom Morris. The group's independently released EP Name Your Poison led to their signing a record deal with DGC Records in 1989. With great hopes for the future, the band began working on its eponymous debut album, which was produced by Bob Rock. Majorly a pure hard rock record, the album also featured elements of genres like R&B and Motown, and was well-received in the market. With singles like "In Your Arms" and a courageous cover of Aretha Franklin's "Chain of Fools," the band found its name on the Billboard 200 chart in 1990. However, the band's less-than-photogenic image in a highly-critical era proved to be its undoing and Little Caesar saw itself lose its erstwhile collaborators. Undeterred, the band returned with 1992's Influence. Following Apache's departure and the sophomore album's inability to match the success of the debut album, Little Caesar disbanded. It reunited in 2001 for a couple of live shows and also went on to release a new album - the aptly titled Redemption - in 2009. The band's fourth album American Dream was released after a tour of the US, UK and Europe, in 2012. Since reuniting, Little Caesar has embarked on many more tours and performed at events such as the Download Festival.
