The Souljazz Orchestra is a Canadian group that blends together elements of soul, jazz and funk. Founded in 2002, the group spent its formative years gigging around the Canadian club scene, honing its sound and refining its songwriting approach, before releasing its debut album, Uprooted, in 2005.
