People Under the Stairs

Los Angeles alternative hip hop duo People Under the Stairs, made up of MCs Thes One and Double K, began making music in 1997 shortly after meeting. Preferring the old school hip hop method of production, involving scouring records shops for old vinyl to use as samples then looping a steady beat and rapping over it, People Under the Stairs creates music that harks back to the origin of hip hop.
