The Hirsch Effekt is an experimental mathcore band from Hannover, Germany that released its self-titled debut EP in 2009 to much critical acclaim. The band describes itself as "indie-electro-post-punk-metal-DIY" in an effort to prepare audiences for its signature sound. The Hirsch Effekt's lyrics, on the other hand, remain decidedly simple - focusing mainly on love and relationships in proper emo form.
