Bill Mockridge is a Canadian actor and comedian who lives and works in Germany. Mockridge's decision to remain in Germany occurred during an acting tour he made there in 1970, and his fame as an actor within the country almost immediately skyrocketed. In 1982, Mockridge founded Germany's famous improv theater, Springmaus (Jumping Mouse) and achieved almost universal fame in Germany shortly thereafter as a main character in the celebrated German soap opera Lindenstrasse. Since then, Mockridge has continued to act and perform throughout Germany to major success and acclaim.
