Colourmusic

Oklahoma band Colourmusic seem to have taken cues from their Oklahoma progenitors The Flaming Lips. Beyond the obvious Lips influence, Colourmusic brings an extra zest of zaniness to their live sets--the group often dresses up in a rotating cast of outlandish outfits. The band is heavily influenced by color, particularly Isaac Newton's theory of color and sound. The band's first two EPs are titled Red and Yellow.
