Laura Weinbach started the group Foxtails Birgade as a solo act that performed around Santa Cruz and then later San Francisco--where she met violinist Anton Patzner whilst busking on the street. He would go on to become a quintessential element on the group's debut The Bread and The Bait as well as at live performances.
