Middle Brother

Brooklyn's Middle Brother is a super-group of sorts, involving three different members of the bands Deer Tick, Dawes and Delta Spirit. As Middle Brother, the trio makes decidedly raw, unabashed rock n' roll, listing masters like Neil Young, Tom Petty and Bruce Springsteen as primary influences. The band may never reach such superlative heights, but its ability to channel a version of that energy is undeniable. The group's debut eponymous album came out in early 2011.
