Uproot Andy

Andy Gillis, or Uproot Andy, is a DJ, producer, and at the forefront of the electro-tropical scene. Based out of Brooklyn, Uproot Andy began his career as the founder and DJ of NYC's Que Bajo?! party, which blends rumba, cumbia and Latin folk with electro to create world-beat dance nights. Primarily known for his remixes, but occasionally producing original pieces that sample a variety of South American genres, Uproot Andy has honed his creative live set to become a regular at clubs and parties around the world.
