Amongst other relatives with Nashville music connections, Amber Digby's father was a member of Loretta Lynn's band The Coal Miners and her mother was a backup singer for Connie Smith, making the singer/songwriter no stranger to classic country. While she relocated from Nashville to Houston, Digby maintains her roots, singing honky tonk blues. However, with the incorporation of a six-piece backing band called Midnight Flyer, Digby's music is tinged with a Texas country sound. By tying together two of country music's most popular points of origin, Amber Digby & Midnight Flyer has become a mainstay act, impressing audiences across the South.
