New York City-via Austin-DJ Big Wiz has been spinning since 1983, but is best known as a collaborator with underground hip-hop heavy weights El-P and Aesop Rock. While he generally receives the most attention for the work he's done with the aforementioned artists, he also performs solo and with the DJ collective The Steel Workerz. With almost three decades of experience to his name, the DJ incorporates a wide array of samples and turntable techniques into his sets, which are always highly acclaimed.
