Booker T Washington High School was the first black public high school in Georgia and the first Black school in the Atlanta Public School System. Come and see how Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Grandfather organized the community to create a public high school for Black students in Atlanta. This same school is where Dr. Martin Luther King attended.
