Mike Farris is a singer/songwriter from Nashville, Tennessee who initially rose to prominence as the lead vocalist of the Southern blues outfit Screamin' Cheetah Wheelies in the early 1990s. Striking out on his own after the group broke up, Farris released his debut solo album, Goodnight Sun, in 2002 and the LP's intelligent collection of Southern gothic inspired tales set to bluesy alternative rock helped establish him as a capable force on the Nashville music scene.
